Thierry Nkaoua is Deputy Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation at AREVA. In this position, he has two kinds of missions: He is in charge of several strategic innovation programs, as future Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems, Fast Breeder Reactors or carbonaceous matters recycling. He is the manager of a “Frontier Technologies Team” in charge of introducing in Areva best advanced technologies and methods from either other industries or academic world (as Nanotechnologies, Human Machine Interfaces, Harden Electronics, System Engineering,…)
Before, Thierry Nkaoua held various positions from fundamental researcher, university professor, or CEO of an IT company. He was also appointed as a member of the French Strategic Intensive Computing Committee in 2007.
Thierry Nkaoua was graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. He holds a Mathematics Aggregation, a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Modelization from Pierre et Marie Curie University and a Master in Economy from Dauphine University.
