Conference languages

The official conference languages will be English and French. These languages can be used both for the talks and for the electronic proceedings (which will be made available through the conference website). The official language for the final paper-published proceedings will be English only according to the Springer Verlag - that will be our publisher - regulations.

Submission and acceptance

Two forms of submissions are available.

Industrial submissions (industrial track)

The aim of industrial contributions is to present good practices, returns on experience and case studies. An industrial submission consists in a 12 pages article in PDF or in a PowerPoint presentation (15 slides max). Industrial contributions can either be accepted for presentation in an oral or a poster session.

Scientific submissions (scientific track)

Scientific contributions should present innovative methodological, technical or scientific results. These consist in a PDF or PostScript-formatted article (12 pages max). They can be targeted to either an oral or a poster session.

Evaluation process

The programme committee reserves the right to redirect presentations towards the appropriate track. Each submission will be subject to two referee reports under the responsability of two different members of the programme committee.

Accepted PowerPoint formatted industrial presentations will be made available in the electronic proceedings on the conference website, but they will not be part of the published printed proceedings, unless the authors write a complete 12-pages paper on the same topic. The refereeing of such articles will be under the responsibility of the two programme committee co-chairs, and will take place during the end of the selection process & the editing process of the regular accepted papers.

Pre-submission

Authors are invited to participate (on a voluntary basis) in a pre-submission scheme where they can submit their names & affiliations with the topics, keywords & abstract of the contribution they intend to submit at a later stage. They will also be able to indicate there their preferred programme commitee member, if any (for optimizing evaluation management).

Submission

All authors must submit their papers in PDF format through our electronic submission system (which is based on Easy chair). No other submission process will be accepted.

At the unique exception of PowerPoint industrial presentations submissions, papers should be prepared according to the Springer Verlag styles that can be found below.

- Latex style to use:
Zip - 669.2 kb

- Word style to use:
Zip - 553.8 kb

For submissions of PowerPoint industrial presentations, you can use either your own PowerPoint format or the conference PowerPoint format which is given below.

- PowerPoint format for industrial submissions (if chosen):
PowerPoint - 172.5 kb

More information can be found on the Preparing a Book Manuscript page of Springer Verlag’s website.

Published proceedings

The conference proceedings will be published in a dedicated 2-volume edited book by Springer-Verlag (Science and Engineering). Selected papers will be published in special issues appearing in international journals covering the conference topics. We already have an agreement with Concurrent Engineering Research and Applications.
