Jacques PELLAS graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris (1971) and obtained a Master from Sup’Aéro Institute (1972). He worked for ONERA (1972-1978) in Research about rocket launcher propulsion, and in the field of static and fatigue analysis. Then in 1978, he joined DASSAULT AVIATION Engineering Division as a designer on MIRAGE programs.
In 1981, within the Prototype Manufacturing Division he participated in different programs : Mirage III NG, Falcon 900, and he was particularly in charge of manufacturing the RAFALE Prototype. After the first flight of this aircraft, he joined the Executive Staff of the plant of Saint-Cloud. In 1988 he implemented Financial Control for new military programs. In 1991, he was in charge of Total Quality for the Company. In 1997, he was appointed as Senior Vice-President for Military Customer Support : he reorganized Military Support and implemented a new strategy in order to improve customer satisfaction. In 2000, as Senior Vice-Président for Information System, he led the implementation of the new collaborative PLM Information System for the Falcon 7X.
Since January 2006, he is the Corporate Secretary of DASSAULT AVIATION.
